  1. Preheat the oven to 370 degrees F.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, mix together pumpkin, sugar, eggs, oil and buttermilk until well combined.
  4. Mix in the chocolate chips.
  5. Pour into greased muffin tins. Top with remaining chocolate chips.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
